I have been practicing medicine as a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner since 2001 and love my work and the results I have seen.

After graduating with a B.S. in Nursing from Creighton University in 1989, I became interested in integrative/nutritional medicine.

In 1996 a nutritional medicine physician asked me to help him open his new practice. While working in this environment I witnessed first hand the healing capabilities of a healthy lifestyle combined with vitamins and nutritional supplements.

During my work with him I completed my Masters of Science in Nursing through South Dakota State University in 2001 and subsequently joined his practice.  Early on this was a difficult road to walk in the medical field because it went against the grain of traditional medicine.  I've always loved learning and have seen the tremendous value of looking outside the box.

In 2003, I became a Medical Consultant for the Creighton Model System of Fertility Care and NaPro Technology through St. Paul VI Institute in Omaha.   Through this process we are able to uncover hormone imbalances and reproductive issues while supporting the natural procreative processes and treating women and couples with the dignity and respect they deserve.

Then, in 2006, I became certified in Wilson's Thyroid Syndrome and since then have successfully treated a vast number of people struggling with thyroid issues, fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue.

Most recently, in 2019,  I attended the  core certification course for Frequency Specific Microcurrent.  I am excited about this relatively old technology which has been recently rediscovered and I am already seeing that it can greatly improve the lives of people who had given up hope in finding a treatment answer.

I do everything I can to treat each patient with an intentional mindset for personalized healing.
